The FutureNet transcription system is one of the most comprehensive transcription systems in the industry. The system includes several modules: iType for word processing which includes automated patient census (when available by the facility), doctor rosters, and other database information; iText for word and text expansion; iManager for transcribed document management and distribution, HL7 interfaces, management statistics and report writing; iServer for system configurations; and iGateway for voice and text file access and authentication.
FutureNet's document imaging services include scanning, indexing, storing, and distribution of patient historical and current documents. These services can be provided by the FutureNet regional imaging facility, or by FutureNet on-site imaging services.
